Caribbean holiday searches have surged by 81% on TravelSupermarket since the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East, And it's not just Barbados and Jamaica cleaning up. Holidaymakers are branching out further than ever, with some lesser-known islands stealing the show.
There’s some good news for sun-seekers,too: the airlines have cottoned on. British Airways is piling on extra seats for winter 2026, including a brand-new daily Gatwick to Barbados route (with onward hops to Grenada, Guyana and Tobago), daily standalone flights to St Lucia and more weekly departures to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Virgin Atlantic is also going bigger on Jamaica, upping its London Heathrow to Montego Bay service to daily from June.
More flights mean more choice and more reasons to get booking.
