Looking to get away over Easter? With the holiday falling in early April this year (Easter Sunday is 5 April), you’ll have to think more carefully about where to go if you’re craving beach-ready weather.

For some schools the holidays start in late March, while for others it’s early April, meaning that Europe is only just starting to warm up and it might be trickier to find a holiday that delivers on the two things that matter the most to many families: reliable warmth and great value.

To help you find the holiday sweet spots this Easter, we’ve analysed average seven-night holiday prices on TravelSupermarket alongside March temperatures in Europe and beyond to reveal the best destinations that tick both boxes – average highs of over 20°C and prices of less than £800pp.

Where’s best for warmth and great value?

Four destinations stood out as the best options for Easter 2026 as they are warm enough to guarantee a proper holiday feel in late March but are also priced competitively.

The Algarve

The Algarve claimed our number one spot with average holiday prices of £520pp and average highs of 21°C in March. The beaches are the obvious draw in this region of Portugal known for its golden coastline, but beyond the sand, there are boat trips to enjoy plus the Ria Formosa Natural Park in the Algarve’s east. Visit to spot wildlife, burn energy on easy-to-navigate walking trails and to take some time out on protected, pristine beaches.

Lanzarote

The Canary Island of Lanzarote is also an excellent choice for a family Easter holiday with average prices of £758pp and average highs in March of 23°C. Families will love the island’s mix of gold- and black-sand beaches and jaw-dropping volcanic landscapes made for high-octane exploration. For a memorable day out, all of the brood will be fascinated by the blind albino crabs at Jameos del Agua – a unique volcanic cultural attraction by artist César Manrique.

Agadir

North African countries are offering excellent value for money at the moment and Agadir, which came in at number three with average holiday prices of £765pp and average highs in March of 24°C, is a fantastic choice for families. Along with sun, sea and sand, the kids will be able to go on a camel ride, learn how to surf and try their haggling skills in a souk that’s much more laid back than its Marrakech counterpart.

Fuerteventura

With miles and miles of spectacular sandy beaches our final sweet spot destination, the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, is a go-to for many families and this Easter seven-night holidays are averaging £800pp with average March highs of 22°C. If you can drag the kids away from the sand, the Acua Water Park near Corralejo is a brilliant day out and opens again for the season on 27 March. For something different, take little ones to meet the goats at Finca Pepe, a traditional goat cheese making farm where there’s also donkeys, camels and peacocks.

Where’s warm enough but pricier?

If you’re willing to pay a bit more for your sunshine, our research revealed three destinations where the sun is likely to be shining this Easter and temperatures are likely to be above 20°C – but prices are higher to get there.

Family-favourite Tenerife sees average highs of 21°C in March but average prices snuck above £800 at £839pp. Similarly, the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria has average highs of 22°C in March but average prices of £876pp.

Marrakech just missed out on a place on our top picks list as average highs in March are a toasty 25°C but average prices are £819pp.
