Going away over Christmas doesn’t need to cost a fortune. This five-star escape to Kemer, south of Antalya, costs just £356 per person for a family of four – and yes, that's all-inclusive.

Flying from London Gatwick on 22 December, you'll spend seven nights at the beachfront Limak Limra Hotel & Resort, around an hour’s drive from Antalya Airport.

While the outdoor pools are likely to be closed, there's a heated indoor pool and a winter all-inclusive programme with buffet dining and an à la carte option.

The hotel has hosted Christmas gala evenings in previous years, so check what's planned this year. As for the weather, expect daytime highs around 16°C and possibly some rain. But at this price, it's a fantastic way to escape the colder UK temperatures and avoid cooking Christmas dinner!

2. Enjoy a five-star beachfront escape in Lara from £572pp

Next up is a fantastic deal in Lara that includes not just your food and drink, but luggage and transfers too. Flying from Leeds Bradford at the end of November, you'll spend seven nights at the five-star Titanic Deluxe Lara, a beachfront resort just a 20-minute drive from Antalya Airport. And, as the name suggests, the hotel is designed to look like a giant cruise ship, complete with a ship-shaped exterior overlooking its pools and gardens.

Thankfully, you won't need to set sail to enjoy the facilities! As well as two indoor pools and a heated outdoor pool, there's a choice of restaurants and bars, a bowling alley, spa and steam room – plenty to keep you busy even if the weather doesn't play ball.

You'll stay in a standard double room with a land view, though you can upgrade to a side sea view for just £34 more per person.

3. Indulge in five-star opulence in Belek from £577pp

For my final deal, I thought it was only right to finish with a five-star resort that really does deliver on the luxury label. Enter Rixos Premium Belek.

Flying from Birmingham in February, you'll spend four nights at this upscale beachfront resort in Belek, where the main draws are its many restaurants, high-tech spa and heated indoor and outdoor pools – the latter being something you don't always get on a winter getaway.

And that's not all. You'll also get free entry and transfers to The Land of Legends theme park, just 10km (6.2 miles) away – which, good news, is still open in winter (although its water park isn’t).

You'll be staying in an opulent deluxe double room, and you can upgrade to a sea view for an additional £173 in total. That said, with a 700-metre private beach right on your doorstep, there are plenty of chances to take in the views without paying extra.
