Fuerteventura holidays from £165pp: Three deals for autumn and winter sun

1. Enjoy a last-minute family escape from £435pp

Let’s begin with a last-minute deal flying from Manchester for two adults and one child. All-inclusive options for these dates started from just £275 per person – yes, really – so I’ve used those cheaper prices to find us something that’s still cost-effective and well rated.

Enter the four-star Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden in Playa de Jandía, a modern resort close to the beach and surrounded by Fuerteventura’s dramatic southern landscape. You’ll be staying in a standard room with a balcony or terrace, with an outdoor pool, children’s areas, a mini-club, daytime activities and evening entertainment all on hand.

This Fuerteventura family holiday package includes Jet2 flights, 10kg hand luggage and 22kg checked baggage for all three of you, plus shared coach transfers. And if you can peel yourself away, Morro Jable, Cofete and Sotavento are all worth exploring for beaches, wild scenery and watersports.

2. Bargain group trip from just £165pp

Time for something a little different. How about a group trip? Get six of you together and you can stay at Caleta Blanca in Caleta de Fuste for just £165 per person.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa sits on a golf complex and comes with a private pool, sea-view terrace and barbecue – ideal for lazy days and alfresco dinners.

If you fancy a jaunt out, the nearby resort town of Caleta de Fuste is a steady 35-minute walk away – or a quick ride in a car or taxi. There you’ll find a shopping centre, tapas bars, local supermarkets and the gorgeous Playa del Castillo beach.

Getting to and from the airport will be a breeze too, thanks to the fact it’s only an 11-minute drive away.

The great thing about this deal is that you can choose to book the villa separately and arrange your own flights, or there’s an option to book ‘villa +flights’. For these dates in late November, I found package deals from Birmingham, Gatwick, Bristol and Glasgow all for well under £300 per person. There are so many options!

3. Relax on an adults-only luxury escape from £769pp

Finally, where are my luxury holiday fans without kids at? Secrets Bahía Real Resort & Spa is regarded as one of the best hotels on the island, and when I spotted this deal flying from Cardiff, I knew I had to include it – it doesn’t often come up in my deal searches!

This five-star, adults-only resort in Corralejo is all about switching off, with tropical gardens, two outdoor pools, a seriously impressive spa and the beach right on its doorstep. Recent guests regularly praise the immaculate rooms, attentive service and peaceful atmosphere too.

The cheapest option I found was with loveholidays and includes a small underseat bag and 10kg cabin bag. But if you’d add checked luggage and transfers anyway, it’s worth comparing the TUI option, where both are included for £76 more per person.

You can also upgrade from bed and breakfast to all-inclusive – just work out the extra cost per day first to see whether you’ll get your money’s worth.
