The best January holiday sales for 2025

TUI

TUI's sale is on until 3 March, with a straightforward tiered discount system that rewards bigger spends.

Holidaymakers can save £100 when spending £1,000, £200 on bookings over £2,000 and £300 when spending over £3,000.

It’s also offering free room upgrades at various hotels for travel between May and October 2025, plus thousands of free kids' places.

Deposits start from £60pp, or you can opt for a £0 deposit when paying by direct debit.

easyJet

The budget airline's ‘Big Orange Sale’ runs until 4 February, featuring discounts on both flights and package holidays.

Over 1.4 million seats have been reduced by up to 20%, with standout deals including Krakow from £14.99, Amsterdam from £18.99 and Fuerteventura from £15.99.

On the package holiday front, easyJet holidays is offering savings of up to £400 on all holidays. The discount structure starts at £50 off when spending £500, rising to £100 off £800, £150 off £1,500, £300 off £3,000 and the full £400 available on higher-value bookings.

All package holidays include 23kg luggage per person and transfers for beach holidays.

Jet2

Jet2's sale includes a blanket discount of £90pp off all holidays in its program. It’s also cutting flight prices by 15% across its entire network, including one-way tickets, for travel dates stretching all the way to November 2026.

Members of the MyJet2 program get even better value, with £100 off per person on holidays and 20% off flights. These discounts can be combined with free child places, which are available on millions of holidays.

loveholidays

Running until 2 February, loveholidays has structured its sale by holiday type, offering up to £400 off long-haul adventures, up to £250 off beach holidays and up to £175 off city breaks.

Some of its most competitive deals include seven nights in Tunisia from £199pp and Malta breaks from £189pp, working out at just £27 per person per night.

It’s also offering deposits from £25pp, extra £50 discounts for bookings made in the app, and a price match guarantee.

First Choice

First Choice's sale lasts until 3 March, offering the same tiered savings as TUI: £100 off when spending over £1,000, £200 off bookings over £2,000 and £300 off when spending over £3,000.

These discounts apply to holidays departing between summer 2025 and summer 2026 and deposits start from just £30.

The company has also expanded its January offers to include flight-free travel through an exclusive partnership with Byway. Customers booking between 1 and 31 January 2025 can save £100 on rail-based trips throughout the 2025 season by using code FirstChoice100 at checkout.

Some of the best itineraries include five days exploring Dutch tulip fields from £540pp, travelling by train from London through Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and a ten-day ‘Overland Ibiza’ rail adventure from £1,795pp, including stops in Girona, Barcelona and Paris.

On the Beach

On the Beach is offering three unique perks on holidays of seven nights or more in 2025:

• Free airport lounge access when you book a five-star holiday
• Free airport fast track when you book a four-star holiday
• Free mobile data when you book a three-star holiday

The extras aren’t available on all packages, so check for the relevant logo on your holiday before you book.

It’s also offering low £30pp deposits on all holidays booked at least 45 days in advance.

LeShuttle

LeShuttle is offering a straightforward 20% discount on all Channel crossing tickets (excluding Flexiplus) when booked by 12 January for travel until 30 June 2025. The service takes just 35 minutes from Folkestone to Calais and is a great option for family holidays to the continent.

Air Transat

Air Transat has launched its ‘Big Flight Sale’, offering direct flights to Canada from £355 per person return. The sale runs from 8 to 31 January 2025, with travel dates available between 8 January and 31 October 2025.

Some of the best bargains include London Gatwick to Toronto from £355pp return, with up to daily flights in winter and double daily in summer, while Manchester to Toronto offers fares from £419pp return, with weekly flights in winter and up to six times weekly in summer.

All Economy Class fares also come with carry-on baggage and complimentary wine with meals.
