Most family-friendly resorts can be found in and around Rodney Bay and Gros Islet. Here you’ll find snacks, meals, and drinks on tap, while the kids’ club is a great place for the little ones to make holiday friends. Want to master a new watersport? Just ask at reception.
You’ll also be within easy reach of Splash Island Water Park, billed as “the Caribbean’s wettest and wildest attraction”. It’s a certified crowd pleaser.
If your family loves a water park, but you’d prefer to holiday somewhere a little quieter, then look to Vieux Fort in the south. The Coconut Bay Resort & Spa’s in-resort waterpark steals the show here.
Ready for a high-octane family adventure, but want everything taken care of? Consider staying at an all-inclusive resort near Soufrière, where you can zipline through the rainforest and ride horses on the beach. You can also take a day trip to Sulphur Springs, the island's now-dormant volcano, where the whole family can soak in mineral-rich mud baths.
You'll find most all-inclusive resorts scattered around the horseshoe-shaped Rodney Bay and Gros Islet in the north of the island. All are within easy reach of the region’s best beaches, including Reduit Beach, as well as the stunning Pigeon Island. All-inclusive packages here include watersports and snorkelling.
For a little more luxury seek out all-inclusive options in Marigot Bay, on the west of the island. Here you can enjoy wellness experiences, fresh seafood and infinity pools in your resort, as well as all the sun, sea, and sand of Saint Lucia.
If you’re after a more tranquil vibe, consider a stay in an all-inclusive resort in the southwest of the island, around the striking town of Soufrière. Here you'll find secluded coves such as Sugar Beach, and flawless sandy shores including Anse Chastanet, which is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Popular deals include snorkelling trips and opportunities to go sailing.
St. Lucia’s plentiful resorts know how to deliver all-inclusive brilliance with Caribbean charm. These resorts cater to a wide variety of budgets and requirements, but all offer a comfortable and convenient setting in which to enjoy a dreamy island getaway.
Marigot Bay
Moments from Castries – another option for an all-inclusive getaway – Marigot Bay is a top spot for those looking to combine beach time with a bit of culture. Most resorts here will appeal to couples, with many featuring charming rooms, fine dining restaurants and luxury spas.
Gros Islet
Towards the northern tip of the island, Gros Islet and Rodney Bay have a smattering of family-friendly all-inclusive resorts which include kids' clubs, watersports and entertainment as standard. Many adults-only resorts in Cap Estate provide spa treatments and fitness classes, and some offer excursions to Gros Islet's famous Jump Up — the Friday night fish fry and street party — for a taste of the real St Lucia.
Soufriére
Colourful, quirky and packed with Caribbean charm, Soufrière on the west coast is a lovely town to escape to, whether you’re looking for a romantic setting or something for the family. All-inclusive resorts here incorporate fine dining restaurants, private pools, views of the Pitons and scuba diving.
