Figueretes Hippy Market; May-October: Travel into Ibiza Town by road (10 minutes) or walk (45 minutes) to the nightly market along the Figueretes promenade, which has been running for almost 20 years. It’s the ideal place to collect holiday souvenirs.

Eivissa Medieval Festival; May: Dalt Vila – the fortified old town of the island’s capital – is the setting for this family-friendly event. Held to celebrate the area’s fascinating history, there are craft markets and food stalls alongside belly dancing, magic, falconry, juggling, jousting and much, much more. It takes only 10 minutes to reach Dalt Vila by car, bus or taxi from Playa d’en Bossa.

Fiesta de la Tierra; August: This is a celebration of two saints that takes place in early August in Ibiza Town. With parades, markets, live music and family activities, it is a joyous occasion for visitors of all ages.

Babies and toddlers: Young families can explore the soft sands and gentle waters of the beach as well as enjoying the resort’s amusement parks, which have trampolines, bouncy castles and rides for children of all ages.

Kids and teens: Playa d’en Bossa is home to the popular Aguamar water park. With rides, slides and pools on your doorstep, family holidays are a breeze.

Grown-up families: Venture into nearby Ibiza Town, also known as Eivissa, and feel the laidback vibes of this beautiful destination.
