TravelSupermarket Holiday Hotlist: Ranking the top holiday destinations in 2026

TravelSupermarket searches always reveal just how popular the Antalya area is, and that was the case in September as its total eclipsed all but four destinations.

The average seven-night holiday to the Antalya area, departing over the next six months, now comes in at a remarkably cheap £440 per person - a 24% drop in price compared to last month.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to stylish all-inclusive resorts in the beautiful Antalya area. More importantly, the average cost of upgrading from bed and breakfast is just £20 per person.

Fuerteventura’s status among the Holiday Hotlist leaders recently has been driven partly by a massive spike in interest, with TravelSupermarket searches up by 81% in September.

Now is a good time to compare Fuerteventura holidays too, with the average price of a seven-night holiday falling over 5% in September, down to a tempting £570 per person.

The satisfaction of a cheap beer on holiday is unrivalled. And in Fuerteventura, that satisfaction is on tap, with the average local beer coming in at just £2.36.

No destination saw an average seven-night holiday price drop as big as Santorini in September. Prices were down over 35% to £488 per person, making it the third-cheapest destination on the latest Holiday Hotlist.

Santorini is also showing exceptional value for a last-minute getaway, with the average price of a seven-night holiday in October just £465 per person - the cheapest on this month’s Holiday Hotlist.

And just to sweeten the deal even further if you’re considering Santorini in October, you’ll be saving an average of £200 per person by choosing this month over September.

Majorca was particularly popular among TravelSupermarket searches in September and was eclipsed by only Tenerife and Fuerteventura, despite a slight decrease compared to August.

If you’re considering an out-of-season Majorca break, now is a great time to start comparing deals. Prices fell by almost 10% in September, with the seven-night holiday average now at just £571 per person.

If you’ve waited that little bit longer for your shoulder season getaway to Majorca, you’ve made an excellent decision. October breaks here are £161 per person cheaper on average compared to September.

Despite sliding down the Holiday Hotlist slightly this month, Tenerife remains incredibly popular, with more TravelSupermarket searches than any destination in September.

While the average price of a holiday to Tenerife departing over the next six months has risen slightly, the cost of a last-minute October break is more appealing. £640 per person is cheaper than four Holiday Hotlist destinations this month.

When you touch down in Tenerife, it won’t be long before you have a cold drink in your hand. And you may head to the bar even quicker when you hear that the average price of a local draught beer (£2.14) is cheaper than any of our top 20 most searched destinations.

While still slightly pricier on average than other Holiday Hotlist destinations this month, the cost of a seven-night getaway to Lanzarote departing over the next six months has fallen by 3.4%.

The Canary Islands are particularly attractive at this time of year, offering fantastic weather as other destinations cool. This appeal is shown by Lanzarote seeing a significant number of searches in September.

The Canary Islands’ appeal doesn’t stop at their weather and holiday prices either. The cost of a beer is tantalising too, with Lanzarote’s local draught average just £2.36.

When we analysed the top 20 most searched destinations on TravelSupermarket in September, Rhodes holidays were among the cheapest on average, at £557 per person.

That average seven-night holiday figure comes following a significant decrease in September, an 11.5% drop compared to August.

There’s value to be found across the board in Rhodes right now, including last-minute holidays. The average seven-night getaway in October is only £531 per person.

Agadir’s rapid ascent into the Holiday Hotlist top 10 comes partly due to a huge increase in TravelSupermarket searches, with a 134% rise in September compared to August.

Despite a very marginal increase in average seven-night holiday price in September, Agadir is still the fourth-cheapest destination on the Holiday Hotlist at £546 per person.

Agadir offers the dream combination of cheap holiday prices and cheap local costs. The price of a beer, the barometer of affordability Brits love to use, is well under £4 on average.
